Phobos

Phobos is an extremely affectionate cat. Even if you annoy her, the worst she will do is give you a dirty look.

[photo] Phobos is a large cat. Really, really large. But don't tell her. She likes curling up in small boxes.

We're not sure how she manages it. Perhaps she uses hyperspace.

[photo] Like all cats, Phobos is adept at mind control. Here, she lays her paws on Diana, planting instructions.

[photo] Dennis built this cat-ladder so that the animals of the house could climb to the top of Erin's loft bed.

Sometimes Phobos perches half-way up.

[photo] Phobos watches "The Nature Channel" outside hoping for a succulent bird or rodent.

[photo] Phobos curls up with her twin sister Deimos. Sometimes it's hard to tell the twins apart.

Diana got custody of Phobos and Deimos in 2006, precipitating the legendary Great Cat Shortage Of '06. Dennis resolved the crisis by adopting Bigfoot, but still misses the twins. Dennis visits them occasionally.

I am sad to report that Phobos passed away over Thanksgiving weekend, 2008. She was a fine kitty, beloved by all who knew her. She will be sorely missed.
